Today we looked at two scriptures that on the surface look to be unrelated yet are connected through a discussion on what it means to be focused upon God's love.

On this Sunday we examined the story of Jonah and how there is so much more than just a big fish. This is a story that challenges us in who do we think deserves God's love and mercy, which ultimately leads us to a discussion of what does it mean to choose transformation.  We welcomed an a cappella group in worship this morning for special music.

On this Sunday we delved into the question of How do we listen for God and what distracts us from listening. We welcomed some of the cast of The Honk Tonk Angels in worship this week.

ON THIS SUNDAY WE CELEBRATE EPIPHANY, WHICH is BEING SURPRISED BY GOD AND WHERE GOD IS AT WORK IN THE WORLD. BEING CHALLENGED BY HOW DO WE RECOGNIZE GOD.
